Billionaire media mogul David Geffen, 83, has reportedly reconciled with his ex-husband Donovan Michaels, 33, just months after their divorce was finalized. Sources told Page Six that the pair appeared "very much back together" during an October outing aboard Geffen's 454-foot superyacht, Rising Sun.

This apparent reconciliation follows a contentious divorce and a civil lawsuit filed by Michaels in July 2025. Michaels, formerly a go-go dancer known as David Armstrong, accused Geffen of sexual, emotional, and financial exploitation. His lawsuit claimed Geffen used a "toxic mix of seduction, control, promises of love, and lavish displays of wealth to entrap" him.

The couple reportedly met in 2016 through SeekingArrangements.com, a website for financially beneficial relationships. Michaels alleged that Geffen paid him $10,000 for sex during their first encounter, which evolved into a romantic relationship. The lawsuit further claimed that Geffen expected Michaels to use cocaine, molly, and cannabis with him and his friends.

Michaels also cited tension over his decision to get sober and enter Alcoholics Anonymous, alleging Geffen "did not want a healthier Michaels." Among other claims, Michaels stated Geffen demanded painful laser hair removal and dental procedures to maintain "physical perfection" and became enraged over minor issues like ingrown hairs.

According to the complaint, Geffen had promised lifelong financial support and equal asset sharing, but allegedly abandoned these commitments. Michaels accused Geffen of kicking him out of their New York home while Geffen was attending other events. Geffen's legal team denied the allegations, with his attorney Patricia Glaser calling the lawsuit "pathetic."

Court filings indicated Geffen provided Michaels with $200,000 in cash post-separation, an additional $200,000 for rehabilitation, and a rent-free Manhattan apartment costing $15,000 per month. Michaels dropped his civil lawsuit in October 2025, and a confidential settlement was reached the following month.

Their divorce was finalized in April 2026. However, just two months later, the former couple was observed looking friendly on Geffen's yacht. The billionaire, estimated to be worth $8.7 billion, was seen having an intimate conversation with Michaels aboard the $400 million yacht, Rising Sun, which was previously owned by Larry Ellison and features amenities like a basketball court, movie theater, and spa.

Neither Geffen nor Michaels has publicly commented on their recent appearance together.
