WWE legend Ric Flair has addressed concerns about his health following a recent fall that led to his hospitalization and the subsequent wearing of an eye patch. Flair, hospitalized late last month after reportedly falling outside a bar in Tampa, Florida, and potentially suffering a concussion, took to X to respond to what he said were persistent questions about his well-being.

"The Question I Keep Asked Is- How Am I Still Alive?" Flair wrote on the social media platform. He then listed a litany of past severe health challenges, including "5,000 Matches With 2,400 Of Them Being One Hour Draws And 5 90 Minute Bouts," a round trip to Japan for three-hour-long draws, an airplane crash, 31 days in intensive care, 14 days on life support, and 35 days in rehab. Flair questioned why fans would be concerned about him "Falling Down And Hitting My Eye?"

The 16-time WWE champion's history of overcoming significant physical adversity is well-documented. In 1975, he was severely injured in a plane crash but returned to the ring within three months. He has also claimed to have been struck by lightning, suffered a heart attack during his final match in 2022, and nearly died in 2017 when his intestines ruptured. Flair has also spoken about recent blood clot issues that have limited his ability to travel for extended periods.
