UK's most followed TikTok creator Kyle Thomas is set to co-host a new BBC nature program, 'Naturewatch'. The show, which begins Friday on BBC Two, aims to celebrate British wildlife and will run throughout the year.

Thomas will join established wildlife presenters Chris Packham and Megan McCubbin. The program is produced by BBC Studios' Natural History Unit and filmed in a secret location near Bristol. Thomas, who has amassed over 33 million followers on TikTok for his animal-focused videos, hopes his involvement will attract a younger audience to the show. He described 'Naturewatch' as a "trusted source of really brilliant factual information," particularly in an era of increasing AI presence on social media.

"We're going on this learning journey together," Thomas stated, expressing his excitement about the project. He added that the show intends to make nature accessible to a broad audience, encouraging viewers to submit their own wildlife videos for the presenters to react to. The presenters have been filmed in a podcast studio with views of a field, and the series will feature content ranging from underwater shark footage to autumnal landscapes.
