The country music group The Chicks faced backlash from fans after postponing their Los Angeles concert just ninety minutes before it was scheduled to begin on November 2. The show has been rescheduled for November 4.

Fans voiced their frustration on social media, with many having traveled from out of town for the event. Some cited significant non-refundable expenses for travel and accommodation.

One fan who traveled from San Diego described the announcement as "WILD," especially with accommodations already booked. Another attendee who flew in from Oklahoma expressed devastation, stating, "I flew in from Oklahoma for this." Similar sentiments were shared by others who incurred substantial costs for the show, with one fan directly addressing lead singer Natalie Maines, "Now YOU COST US MONEY."

A significant number of concertgoers reported learning about the postponement only after arriving at the Dolby Theatre, with some encountering issues with ticket refunds. Because the concert was rescheduled rather than outright canceled, fans who purchased tickets through secondary markets like StubHub, SeatGeek, and Gametime faced difficulties obtaining refunds. One fan noted, "By not cancelling and simply rescheduling, anyone who purchased tickets on any other platform, loses the money." This situation left many fans facing financial losses, particularly in the current economic climate.

The rescheduled November 4 performance is set to be the final North American stop on the band's "Taking the Long Way" tour.
