The K-pop group Katseye canceled its Detroit concert at Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday, just 30 minutes before the show was scheduled to begin. The group announced on Instagram Stories that member Megan Skiendiel had fallen ill and was unable to perform.

"Unfortunately, Megan is unwell and unable to perform tonight, and we want to make sure she has time she needs to rest and recover," the statement read. "We know so many of you have travelled, made plans and been looking forward to tonight. We are incredibly disappointed that we won't get to see you, and we're truly sorry for the inconvenience." The group expressed gratitude for fans' patience and understanding, adding, "We love you and can't wait to see you soon."

The abrupt cancellation led to mixed reactions from fans on social media platform X. Some expressed frustration over the late notice, particularly those who had traveled long distances and incurred expenses for the show. "I spent over a thousand dollars, took off work, and made so many sacrifices to be here," one user commented, expressing a feeling of being let down.

Other fans voiced concern that the members of Katseye are overworked. One concertgoer described arriving at the venue to find the announcement already displayed, noting the distress of younger fans. "I feel so bad for all the little girls sobbing but genuinely when are they going to fit in the reschedule?? I’m concerned. They need to make these announcements sooner!!!"
