Sean "Diddy" Combs' projected release from prison has been moved up to February 6, 2028, a change of nearly a month from his previous March 2, 2028, discharge date. The reason for the adjustment remains unclear.

Combs was recently transferred from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey to FCI Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania. This move followed reports of lavish living conditions, including alleged access to a contraband cell phone and top-shelf alcohol, and incidents that caused issues with other inmates.

Earlier reports indicated Combs sustained a head injury at FCI Fort Dix, which was attributed to him hitting his head on a bunk bed. A separate report claimed the injury resulted from an altercation with Christopher "Dudus" Coke, a Jamaican drug lord serving a sentence at the facility. However, Combs' representatives stated they could not independently verify the fight, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons denied that such an altercation occurred.

Combs was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution in July 2025 and received a 50-month sentence. He was originally slated for release in March 2028, but this date has now been advanced.
