Kim Kardashian stated she is not embarrassed by her recent failure to pass the California Bar Exam, emphasizing that she is "trying my hardest and learning so much." Kardashian, who attended the New York premiere of "All 's Fair" Season 2 on Monday, told Page Six that she believes it is more embarrassing for people who do not try to study for the bar.
Kardashian previously failed the "baby bar" exam three times before passing it on her fourth attempt in 2021. She had announced that she would not attempt the full bar exam again until 2027, with an insider noting that her busy schedule as a "single mom" and her continuous work commitments make dedicated preparation challenging.
The demanding California Bar Exam is a two-day test comprising multiple-choice questions, essays, and a performance test. Kardashian's initial interest in law was sparked in 2019 after she helped secure the release of Alice Marie Johnson, who had been serving a life sentence.
Kardashian, who portrays a divorce lawyer in the Hulu series "All's Fair," expressed her hope to have passed the bar exam before filming began. "How cool would it be to play a lawyer on TV and play one in real life?" she recalled discussing with the show's co-creator, Ryan Murphy.
She remains committed to her legal aspirations, stating, "I'd love to partner the two. I hope it happens while the show is still happening, so fingers crossed, prayers up!" Kardashian added that despite any perceived outcomes, she is proud of her legal knowledge. Kardashian was joined at the premiere by co-stars Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Teyana Taylor, and Niecy Nash.
