One person is feared dead and two others were injured when a helicopter crashed into the ocean southwest of Key Biscayne on Wednesday. Rescue boats were observed rushing to the crash site, which occurred just after 11:50 a.m., according to WSVN.com.
Footage captured from a news helicopter showed a victim covered in a yellow tarp, believed to be deceased. Paramedics transported the two surviving victims, whose conditions are currently unknown, to a hospital.
This incident follows a previous crash in the region where a Learjet plunged into the water days earlier with nine people aboard.
