Pauline Hanson's One Nation Party has removed an article from its website that drew comparisons between its policies and those of former US President Donald Trump. The webpage, titled 'Want Trump's action and style, then it's One Nation you need,' now returns a 404 error, according to reports.

The article, first published in January 2025, highlighted similarities between One Nation's platform and Trump's administration on issues such as immigration, border security, energy, environment, culture, gender, and national sovereignty. It stated that "the actions of current U.S. President Donald Trump echo strongly with the principles and policies of Pauline Hanson's One Nation."

Website archives confirm the page was active until at least August 2026. Its removal occurred after the November 3 US midterm elections, which saw Democrats gain a majority in Congress, a result viewed as a rebuke to Trump. Trump's approval rating had also reportedly dropped to 33 percent in August 2026.

Hanson has previously expressed support for Trump, attending a Halloween party at his Mar-a-Lago compound in Florida in the year prior to the article's removal and speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference there. She described Trump as a "re-energised, strong, and patriotic leader who has the best interests of his people at heart."

The disappearance of the article drew criticism online, with some commenters accusing the party of disingenuously distancing itself from Trump after his political fortunes waned. "Hiding it is just sad," one commenter wrote, while another stated, "If they didn't have double standards, One Nation wouldn't have standards at all."

Another commenter observed, "I think hiding the Trump association once it's no longer as popular is even more pathetic than having a Trump association." The Daily Mail has contacted One Nation for comment.
