U.S. men's national team star Folarin Balogun was shown a red card in the second half of Wednesday night's Round of 32 World Cup match against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The incident occurred when Balogun stepped on an opposing player's leg during a challenge for the ball.

With Balogun's dismissal, the U.S. team will play the remainder of the match with 10 players. If the U.S. team maintains its 1-0 lead, Balogun will be suspended for the subsequent Round of 16 game.

Balogun scored the U.S.'s lone goal in the first half of the match.
