Taylor Ward, wife of Algerian footballer Riyad Mahrez, shared a humorous moment from the World Cup where their daughter Mila was too preoccupied with filming TikTok videos to notice her father score a crucial goal. The incident occurred during Algeria's match against Austria, which ended in a 3-3 draw, securing Algeria's progression to the knockout stage.

Mila, who was two at the time and celebrating her upcoming third birthday, was in the VIP suite with Ward and other family members at Kansas City Stadium. While cheers erupted from the group as Mahrez found the back of the net, Mila remained focused on her phone, reportedly filming content for TikTok. A video shared by Ward showed the toddler singing and dancing to the camera, only looking up when the sudden cheers startled her.

Ward, who has been accompanying her husband throughout the World Cup in the US, expressed her excitement about the match, captioning a series of photos with "what a feeling." She was seen sporting an Algeria flag-embroidered white leather jacket and a luxury Hermes bag. Taylor's father, former footballer Ashley Ward, also attended the game in support of his son-in-law, wearing an Algeria jersey.

The Algerian team is set to travel to Vancouver for their next match against Switzerland. The family resides primarily in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where Mahrez plays for Al-Ahli. They relocated in 2023 following Mahrez's transfer from Manchester City. The family also splits time with Dubai, where Taylor's mother, Dawn Ward, resides.

Mahrez, who earns a reported £44 million annually at Al-Ahli, recently celebrated his team's Asian Champions League victory in April by gifting custom Rolex watches, reportedly worth £17,000 each, to his teammates. He and Taylor have two children.
