Rangers have finalized a deal worth around £6 million to sign goalkeeper Ivor Pandur from Hull City. The 26-year-old Croatian international has agreed to a four-year contract with the Scottish club.

Pandur is currently representing Croatia at the World Cup and is expected to join Rangers at Ibrox this summer. His transfer is anticipated to facilitate the departure of current Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland, who is reportedly set to move to Hull City for a fee in the region of £3 million.

Pandur played a significant role in Hull City's promotion to the English Premier League last season. "I am honored and privileged to sign for such a big club with so much history," Pandur stated upon signing. "This club knows how to win and that's exactly why I am joining Rangers. I can't wait to hear the noise of Ibrox for the first time and I hope we will be successful together."

Rangers manager Derek McInnes expressed his satisfaction with the signing. "We are delighted to bring Ivor to Rangers. He is a goalkeeper with excellent presence and a strong character," McInnes said. "He has shown his quality, he is at a good stage of his career, and we believe he can be a commanding figure for the club. I am looking forward to welcoming Ivor into the team when he returns from the World Cup."

Pandur becomes Rangers' fourth acquisition of the summer transfer window, following the signings of Lawrence Shankland, Ross McCrorie, and Ben Godfrey.
