A Sky Bet customer experienced a significant win, turning a £5 stake into £1,422.69 following Chelsea's 3-2 victory over Fulham. The bet, an eight-leg Build-A-Bet, was successful due to Sky Bet's new "Ghost Leg" feature.

Seven of the eight selections in the accumulator came in, with the only unsuccessful leg being Fulham midfielder Sander Berge to be carded. Instead of the entire bet being lost, the Ghost Leg feature removed the losing selection and settled the remaining seven legs as a winner with adjusted odds.

The winning selections included Chelsea to win and both teams to score, Morgan Rogers to score or assist, Romeo Lavia to be carded, Joao Pedro to score in 90 minutes, Gonzalo Garcia to score in 90 minutes, Levi Colwill to be carded, and Timothy Castagne to be carded.

The Ghost Leg feature is applicable to Sky Bet Build-A-Bets that include five or more selections with combined odds of 3/1 or greater. If precisely one leg of the bet fails, customers can utilize a Ghost Leg token to remove that specific selection, allowing the remainder of the bet to be settled as a winner at revised odds, provided no legs were voided.

A spokesperson for Sky Bet commented on the feature's value, stating, "Losing a leg usually means the end of a bet, but that's exactly what the Ghost Leg feature is there for. Being able to remove Sander Berge's card and still see a four-figure return come in shows just how valuable a second chance can be."

The initial selections and their outcomes were: Chelsea to win & both teams to score (Win), Morgan Rogers to score or assist (Win), Romeo Lavia to be carded (Win), Joao Pedro to score in 90 minutes (Win), Gonzalo Garcia to score in 90 minutes (Win), Levi Colwill to be carded (Win), Timothy Castagne to be carded (Win), and Sander Berge to be carded (Loss).
