Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has been ranked as the No. 1 wide receiver in the NFL by Pro Football Focus (PFF) ahead of the 2026 season. The ranking was released by PFF on Thursday.
Nacua secured the top spot on PFF's Top 10 wide receivers list. He is followed by Jaxon Smith-Njigba of the Seattle Seahawks at No. 2. Rounding out the top five are Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings, Ja'Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals, and Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions.
The remainder of PFF's list includes A.J. Brown of the New England Patriots, CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys, Nico Collins of the Houston Texans, George Pickens of the Dallas Cowboys, and Drake London of the Atlanta Falcons, in descending order.
Nacua concluded his previous season with 1,715 receiving yards, the second-most in the NFL, and a league-leading 129 receptions. He also recorded 10 touchdowns in 16 games. The 25-year-old missed time during the season due to an ankle sprain sustained in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens, which caused him to miss the subsequent game.
Since entering the NFL in 2023, Nacua has demonstrated attributes of an elite wide receiver, including precise route running, physicality, and strong ball-tracking abilities. He has also developed into a threat on deep passes. Nacua excels in yards after the catch (YAC) and is difficult for defenders to bring down. His ability to seamlessly integrate into head coach Sean McVay's offensive scheme, along with his premier blocking skills, has been highlighted as key aspects of his game.
Despite facing some off-field issues, Nacua's career trajectory as a wide receiver in the NFL has been on an upward trend.
