Scott Parker's first match in charge of West Ham United saw the team mount an extraordinary comeback, fighting back from three goals down to secure a 3-3 draw against Cardiff. The match marked Parker's debut as manager following the sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo just 24 hours prior.

Cardiff had established a commanding 3-0 lead by halftime, with Jack Moylan scoring a first-half hat-trick. Moylan opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a ferocious strike from 20 yards. He doubled the lead from the penalty spot after being fouled in the box, and completed his treble shortly before halftime.

Following the break, Parker's West Ham responded with renewed conviction. Jarrod Bowen was instrumental in the resurgence, providing key passes. Divine Mukasa pulled one back in the 58th minute, lifting the ball over the goalkeeper and in off the post. Seven minutes later, Arne Engels scored his first goal for the Hammers, sliding home a pass from Bowen. The dramatic equalizer came when Max Kilman touched home another brilliant cross from Bowen, securing the point for the visitors.

Parker, who made 129 appearances for West Ham as a player between 2007 and 2011, took over a team that had won only twice in its last six matches. The draw extends Cardiff's unbeaten home league run to 10 games, while West Ham currently occupy eighth place in the league standings.
