TNA Wrestling star KC Navarro announced he is feeling fully recovered from a torn ACL that sidelined him for several months last year, and he is now setting his sights on a TNA World Championship match against Nic Nemeth.

Navarro told Fox News Digital that his first match back against A.J. Francis marked a turning point, but it was his bout against Mustafa Ali for the international title that truly signified his return to form. "The confidence is back. I'm feeling great. I'm doing good," he said.

Navarro credits the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City for his swift recovery, which saw him cleared in seven months and return to television in eight. "They got me back really quick. I got back in a record time of like eight months or so," Navarro stated. "I'm feeling really good. I'm feeling stronger, and I'm ready to do some amazing things now."

Navarro has recently competed for the X Division and International Championships. The possibility of a TNA World Championship match against Nic Nemeth looms, especially after Nemeth defeated Mike Santana for the title at Slammiversary and seemingly ended his association with Navarro.

Upcoming Lockdown Event

The TNA Lockdown pay-per-view event is scheduled for August 23 at the Credit Union Arena in Chicago. This will be the first Lockdown event in over a decade. Navarro anticipates a night of intense action, including multiple cage matches. "A lot of cage matches. It's going to be nuts," he said. "I think it's also going to be really cool because it was such a historic match in TNA."

Navarro noted that this will be his first time competing in a cage match. He also mentioned that all titles are expected to be on the line during the event. "And it's in Chicago, which is such a phenomenal wrestling city. So, I think the place is going to be loud. It's going to be jam-packed and it's going to be definitely must see for sure."

TNA's Unique Roster

Navarro highlighted the diverse talent pool within TNA, featuring a mix of established legends and up-and-coming performers. "You got people that are new, people that have been on the rise, that are up and coming that just never got a chance," he explained. "People that were at other places that never got a chance that finally be able to showcase who they really are."

He also pointed to the presence of veterans like The Hardys, Nic Nemeth, and Frankie Kazarian, who he believes contribute to the company's unique platform. "And we all get to work together to do such an amazing thing on such an amazing platform. And I feel like we don't really miss when it comes to shows and pay-per-views. I feel like we get new stories, something really fresh, that's not seen. And that's why I really think that people should continue to tune in."
