The New York Jets appear to be in good health as they prepare for their Week 1 clash against the Tennessee Titans. The team issued its first injury report of the season on Wednesday, indicating that several key players are on track to participate.
Running backs Breece Hall, dealing with a groin issue, and Isaiah Davis, sidelined with a knee problem, were both listed as practicing fully. Rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq, also nursing a groin injury, shared the same designation.
Rookie cornerback D’Angelo Ponds was listed as limited due to a calf issue. However, the majority of the team is trending towards being available for Sunday's game, according to coach Aaron Glenn. Ponds, having only started practicing this week, is unlikely to have a significant role if active.
The only players not participating in practice were edge rusher Joseph Ossai, who has a foot injury, and wide receiver Tim Patrick, dealing with a groin injury. Glenn stated that Ossai is considered "week to week" and is not expected to play.
The team did not hold a traditional practice on Wednesday, instead providing estimated participation levels for their injury report.
