Former Miami Heat teammates Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro were involved in a physical altercation during a practice in Las Vegas on Friday morning. The scuffle reportedly began when Adebayo confronted Herro about comments made on social media following Herro's trade from the Heat.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Adebayo approached Herro after the latter posted a graphic on his Instagram Story highlighting poor midrange field-goal percentages from both Adebayo and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Leaked direct messages also appeared to show Herro making critical remarks about Adebayo.
This incident marks an apparent continuation of friction between the players after their time with the Miami Heat.
