U.S. women's soccer icon Alex Morgan drew attention for her attire during the United States men's national team's Round of 16 World Cup match against Belgium on Monday. Morgan was observed in a suite behind FIFA President Gianni Infantino, sporting a red, white, and blue striped jacket.

The match, held at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington, saw the U.S. men's squad facing a challenging start. Belgium took an early lead following a defensive error by the U.S. team. Although Malik Tillman equalized for the United States in the 30th minute with his second free-kick goal of the tournament, Belgium quickly responded with another goal, regaining a 2-1 advantage.

Morgan, a two-time World Cup champion, was previously in attendance for the United States' Round of 32 matchup against Bosnia-Herzegovina, a game that ended in a 2-0 victory for the U.S.

Alex Morgan, 37, retired from professional soccer in September 2024 after her final club season with San Diego Wave FC. She is expecting her third child with her husband, Servando Carrasco.
