The Hollywood Bowl was transformed into a whimsical landscape inspired by the films of director Wes Anderson for a special weekend tribute. The event showcased a collection of Anderson's collaborators and musicians performing music featured in his distinctive cinematic works.

Friday night's festivities were hosted by actor Bill Murray, a frequent collaborator with Anderson. Murray introduced the musical acts, including the '80s band Devo and musician Jackson Browne, whose song "These Days" was prominently featured in "The Royal Tenenbaums."

Joining the Los Angeles Philharmonic on stage were artists such as Beck, Jenny Lewis, My Morning Jacket's Jim James, Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Karen O, and actor Jason Schwartzman, who has appeared in seven of Anderson's films. The musical program spanned three decades of soundtracks from movies including "Rushmore" and "Moonrise Kingdom."

Fans also contributed to the celebratory atmosphere, with many attendees dressing as iconic characters from Anderson's filmography. Props from his movies were also on display outside the venue, enhancing the immersive experience for enthusiasts of the director's unique aesthetic.
