An unseen couple from the UK series of Netflix's "Love Is Blind" has revealed they are still together, more than a year after their journey on the show concluded without making it into the final edit. Sammy and Jon shared details of their relationship, which began in August 2025, on Instagram.
Their "Love Is Blind" experience was cut short approximately 48 hours after they got engaged. According to Sammy's Instagram post, producers informed them their journey was over shortly after the proposal. "Our actual relationship? Well... that was entirely up to us," she wrote.
The couple's relationship continued after the show, with their first face-to-face meeting occurring on a holiday to Malaga the following month. They navigated a long-distance relationship while working and keeping their engagement a secret. In November, they introduced each other to their families and spent Christmas together.
Sammy and Jon eventually moved in together and adopted a dog named Poddy, a nod to their "Love Is Blind" experience. "This started to feel like real life," Sammy described. "Somewhere along the way, we stopped feeling like two people who met on Love Is Blind. Suddenly it was less 'experiment' and more 'Whose turn is it to pick up the dog s***'."
The couple also shared that they experienced a heartbreaking miscarriage in June of this year. Sammy had discovered she was pregnant on Jon's birthday in April, but they lost their baby three months later. "We lost our baby to a silent miscarriage and honestly, we really struggled. Grieving whilst still living opposite sides of the country was one of the hardest things we've had to face together," Sammy wrote.
Nearly a year after their "Love Is Blind" journey ended, the couple is now able to share their story publicly. "We didn't get picked to continue on Love Is Blind. At the time, that felt like the end of our story," Sammy stated. "Turns out, it was the beginning of the best bit. No cameras, no experiment, no guarantees, we just kept choosing each other and now you're finally in on the secret."
