Fans of the beloved children's series “The Story of Tracy Beaker” experienced a wave of nostalgia this past weekend as several cast members reunited 21 years after the original show concluded.

Dani Harmer, who portrayed the iconic titular character Tracy Beaker, shared photos on her Instagram account from a gathering at Bournemouth Comic-Con. The reunion featured Montanna Thompson, who played Tracy's rival Justine Littlewood, and Nisha Nayar, known as the social worker Elaine ‘The Pain’ Boyak.

Also in attendance were Lisa Coleman, who starred as Tracy's adoptive mother Camilla 'Cam' Lawson, and Chelsie Padley, who played Tracy's friend Louise Govern. The cast members appeared to be in good spirits, posing for playful pictures.

"This isn’t friendship! This is family," Harmer captioned a post featuring the cast. The reunion sparked an enthusiastic response from fans in the comments section, with many expressing that the show was a significant part of their childhood.

"MY WHOLE CHILDHOOD IN ONE PHOTO, so gutted I couldn’t come today, this is everything to me," one fan wrote. Another commented, "Omg so iconic. I think I’d get emotional if I got this meet and greet. You all made so many childhoods great!"

“The Story of Tracy Beaker,” based on the book series by Jacqueline Wilson, originally aired on CBBC and followed the life of Tracy, a young girl residing in a children's care home. The series ran for four years, concluding in 2005 when Tracy was adopted.

The franchise continued with spin-offs, including “Tracy Beaker Returns,” which aired from 2010 to 2012, with Harmer reprising her role. A feature-length film, “Tracy Beaker: The Movie Of Me,” was also released in 2004.

Another spin-off, “The Dumping Ground,” began airing in 2013, though Harmer did not appear in that series. In 2021, Harmer returned to the role of Tracy Beaker in the mini-series “My Mum Tracy Beaker,” which focused on Tracy as a single mother to her daughter Jess, played by Emma Maggie Davies.
