Tom York, known for his role as Sam Carne in the BBC series "Poldark," has married his long-term girlfriend, model Kara Milner. The wedding ceremony was attended by several of York's "Poldark" co-stars, including Eleanor Tomlinson and Beatie Edney.

Actress Beatie Edney, who portrayed Prudie Paynter in the series, shared news of the marriage on social media. A video clip from the celebration showed guests on the dance floor, and Edney's post confirmed the presence of fellow cast members. Among those celebrating were Eleanor Tomlinson, who played Demelza Carne, and Debbie Horsfield, the screenwriter and executive producer of "Poldark."

Also in attendance were Turlough Convery, who played Tom Harry, and Freddie Wise, who portrayed Geoffrey Charles. Edney captioned her post, "Tom York got married to his love Kara. Several of our Poldark family were there to celebrate including @eleanortomlinson and our fabulous writer #debbiehorsfield as well as #freddiewise and #turloughconvery." She added, "It was a beautiful and amazing wedding, full of joy, love, laughter and friendship."

York, 33, previously announced his engagement to Milner in May 2024, sharing photos of his fiancée and her engagement ring. "What an amazing weekend with the perfect ending," he wrote at the time. "Thank you @karamilner for making me the luckiest man."

"Poldark," based on Winston Graham's novels, ran for five seasons from 2015 to 2019. The series followed the life of Ross Poldark and his relationship with Demelza. The final season, written by Horsfield, diverged from the books, a move that drew some criticism but also prompted calls for more episodes from fans. Aidan Turner, who played the titular character Ross Poldark, has previously indicated that a future reboot might focus on the next generation of the Poldark family, though he expressed uncertainty about his own return to a lead role.
