The Real Housewives of Melbourne is preparing for its comeback after months of speculation, with Binge officially confirming the show's return and announcing a new cast led by fan favorite Gina Liano. The series, which originally debuted in 2014, follows the lives of women navigating Melbourne's high society.

Liano, described as a "queen diva" and "forthright diva," expressed her enthusiasm for returning to the show. "It's been a while between drinks, but some things are worth waiting for," she stated in an official release. "I've missed the glamour, the fabulous women and, of course, the drama."

She hinted at the involvement of both familiar and new faces in the upcoming season. "I'm looking forward to seeing some familiar faces, meeting some new ones and getting back to what we do best – having a good time, looking fabulous and causing a little trouble along the way," Liano added.

Daniel Monaghan, Foxtel Group Executive Director for Entertainment Content, also shared his excitement about Liano's return and the show's revival. "The speculation can finally end – we're delivering what fans have been asking for, with Gina Liano returning to The Real Housewives of Melbourne," Monaghan said. "And while Gina's return is just the beginning, we've got plenty more fabulous new and returning faces still to reveal."

The Real Housewives of Melbourne initially ran for five seasons, becoming known for its portrayal of ambitious and often dramatic lives within the city's social circles. Production was paused after its initial run. While rumors of a reboot circulated earlier this year, the latest announcement confirms a "full reset" for the series.
