Preparations for what is rumored to be the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly underway at Madison Square Garden, with deliveries of lighting and other event equipment seen at the venue. A large truck was observed backing into the delivery section of the arena on Monday, June 29, unloading equipment.

Swift and Kelce have reportedly taken extensive measures to maintain privacy regarding their wedding details. According to TMZ, invitations sent out in the spring were individually watermarked with guests' initials to identify any leaks. The invitations themselves reportedly only list New York City as the location and July 3 as the date, without specifying Madison Square Garden.

Further fueling speculation, a permit application was reportedly filed to close streets outside Madison Square Garden from July 2 to July 4. Reports also indicate that Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs teammates have booked hotel accommodations in Times Square around July 3. Winick Productions, an event planning company known for large-scale red carpet events, has allegedly filed a permit to erect a tent or canopy outside the venue.

A city official confirmed to The New York Times that Madison Square Garden is prepared to host wedding festivities on July 3. Amtrak Police have also been alerted to the expected event during the July 4 weekend. An entertainment industry executive reportedly confirmed that Swift rented Madison Square Garden for a multi-day event beginning July 2, with an intimate gathering for approximately 100 people followed by a larger celebration for around 1,000 guests on July 3. Sources suggest the July 3 event may include stage performances.

Swift and Kelce's relationship began sparking dating rumors in 2023, and their romance became public when Swift started attending Chiefs games. The couple announced their engagement in August 2025, two years after their relationship began. Neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly commented on the current wedding rumors.
