Pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce are set to host an intimate rehearsal dinner at Madison Square Garden on July 2, the night before their wedding.
Sources indicate that approximately 100 close family members and friends will attend the private gathering. The following day, July 3, the couple is expected to host a larger event at the same venue, with an estimated 1,000 to 2,000 guests in attendance. These details were first reported by The New York Times.
Previously, reports had suggested Swift and Kelce might tie the knot at Swift's estate in Rhode Island, with speculation arising about a bride-to-be relinquishing a booking for a waterfront venue. However, in November, sources told Page Six that the couple intended to host a more extensive celebration to accommodate a larger guest list.
Rumored attendees for the wedding festivities include A-list celebrities such as Karlie Kloss, Zoë Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, Suki Waterhouse, the Haim sisters, Gigi Hadid, and Selena Gomez. Swift is reportedly handling invitations via phone. The couple has enlisted celebrity wedding planner Mark Seed, known for his discretion.
Despite being invited, some close to the couple remain coy about the exact wedding plans. George Kittle, co-founder of Tight End University and a San Francisco 49ers player, told "Entertainment Tonight" that he asked Kelce about the location and received a laughing response, humorously suggesting they might be flown to a runway.
Swift and Kelce, both 36, became engaged in August 2025, after dating for two years. In the week prior to these wedding details emerging, both individuals were seen celebrating separately. On June 17, a person resembling Swift was observed on her Rhode Island mansion's balcony with friends, while Kelce was reportedly celebrating in Los Angeles with his brother Jason Kelce, comedian Druski, and former teammate Ross Travis.
