Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have made their first public appearance as a married couple since tying the knot at Madison Square Garden. The pair were seen attending the wedding of Kelce's former Kansas City Chiefs teammate, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Laura Kruk on Friday.
Swift wore a strapless floor-length gown with floral brocade designs, and Kelce sported a classic suit and tie for the ceremony. They were seated alongside Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, during the event.
This appearance comes a week after Swift and Kelce's wedding, which took place on July 3. Details from their ceremony have emerged, with AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron sharing insights in a now-deleted post. Aron described the venue, reportedly a cordoned-off section of Madison Square Garden, as being draped in peach and white, with large photos of Swift and Kelce displayed year by year from childhood. He noted that the space was transformed to resemble a "lush countryside retreat" with a garden theme, featuring fifteen rows of approximately 75 chairs.
Aron recounted that "relaxing and mellow romantic songs" played before the ceremony, with violins and a cello ushering in the wedding party. He noted that Kelce wore a white tuxedo and Swift a "stunning white wedding dress with a long veiled train."
Adam Sandler reportedly officiated the ceremony, described by Aron as "warm and welcoming, funny and eloquent." The vows were characterized as "long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent and endearing," detailing how the couple met and their commitment to each other and their families.
Aron also mentioned that Swift and Kelce's "profound love" was evident, calling their first kiss a "sweep you off your feet kiss."
The reception continued the garden theme with "superb food and drink" and abundant music. Aron concluded his account by wishing followers could have witnessed the "real, pure, true joy."
According to Swift's representative, both she and Kelce wore custom Christian Dior Haute Couture. Their shoes were custom Christian Louboutins, and Swift wore Cartier jewelry.
Instead of a traditional wedding party, Swift's brother Austin served as her "Man of Honor," and Jason Kelce, Travis's brother, acted as his best man. Jason and his wife Kylie's four daughters reportedly served as flower girls.
Kylie Kelce described the wedding as "incredible" at the American Century Championship golf tournament in Lake Tahoe on Thursday.
