Tallulah Willis, daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, has revealed that cruel online comments about her appearance led her to "almost starve to death" due to disordered eating. The 32-year-old shared her experience on Instagram, posting a video of negative comments she had received.

In the caption, Willis addressed the harsh remarks, stating, "People seem shocked -genuinely- when I share my experience being called 'medically disfigured' 'or something to fear.'" She added, "I don't often read these things, but when I do I remember why I almost starved to death after a lifetime of disordered eating."

Willis urged her followers to practice kindness, writing, "I take pride in that fact that I choose kindness everyday, but I just hope to share with you all the realities that someone who has been unstoppably vulnerable in sharing their ups and downs still gets treated like this on certain corners of the internet." She concluded with the hashtag "#choosekindness."

This personal disclosure comes after a significant year for Tallulah, which included her August wedding. Her father, Bruce Willis, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023, appeared in a rare photograph embracing her during the wedding festivities. The image was shared by Vogue, documenting a tender moment between father and daughter.

The wedding ceremony took place at the family home in Hailey, Idaho. Tallulah wore a custom Balenciaga gown for the occasion, with her sisters Rumer and Scout serving as bridesmaids in custom Balenciaga dresses. Demi Moore also attended, wearing a strapless teal gown.

Bruce Willis retired from acting in 2022 following his aphasia diagnosis, which later progressed to frontotemporal dementia. His family has shared updates on his health, with his wife, Emma Heming Willis, detailing the adjustments made to ensure his 24/7 care and describing her ongoing grief. Tallulah herself has spoken candidly about her father's health, reflecting on her memories and hopes for him in a 2023 essay for Vogue.
