Stacey Solomon expressed her sadness as her four-year-old daughter, Rose, completed her final day at nursery.
Solomon, 36, shared her emotions on Instagram, posting a video of herself looking through a memory book detailing Rose's three years at the nursery. "The end of an era. Looking through Rose's last 3 years at nursery is actually heartbreaking," she wrote.
The day marked not only Rose's transition but also her niece Mila's last day of primary school. In her post, Solomon extended her gratitude to the nursery staff, thanking them for their dedication and care. "You're raising my babies with me. Honestly I love our teachers & caregivers so so much. The effort, love, kindness and care every single day," she stated.
Solomon also acknowledged other parents navigating similar milestones, sending them "cuddles" as they entered new beginnings. She praised the educators for helping to "shape our humans ready for the world."
Solomon's sentiments echoed those of Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington, who recently shared her own emotional experience on social media as her daughter Summer concluded her primary school years. Adlington revealed she had been crying for about a week, noting the significance of the transition after seven years. "To anyone who knows anyone with kids leaving primary school… check on them. They are not ok," Adlington advised on Instagram, sharing a photo of Summer on her first and last day of primary school.
