Stacey Solomon, 36, and Joe Swash have relocated to a new family home, sharing the first images of their new abode on social media. The couple moved out of their previous property, known as Pickle Cottage, which they purchased for £1.3 million.

Solomon posted a photo of her family on the doorstep of their new home on Instagram, with the caption: "Home is wherever I’m with you… Pickle Project, Here We Go." She also updated followers on Instagram Stories that their chickens, ducks, and beehive had successfully made the move.

The couple revealed in June that they had fallen in love with the new property, an eight-bedroom Victorian mansion surrounded by extensive grounds. The new home features a swimming pool and ample garden space.

Solomon and Swash are parents to Rex, 7, Rose, 4, and Belle, 3. Solomon also has two older sons, Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 14, while Swash has a son, Harry, 19, from a previous relationship. Swash commented that the new property would present a significant renovation project for Solomon, who is known for her DIY skills.

"We are leaving and moving out of Pickle Cottage imminently, which I never thought I'd say," Solomon stated in an emotional Instagram video. She explained that the decision to move was significant and required consultation with family, friends, and neighbors.

Pickle Cottage has been a cherished home for the couple, who moved there in 2021. It holds sentimental value, as Solomon gave birth to their daughters there and they held their wedding ceremony on the grounds in 2022. "Pickle Cottage is our dream house," Solomon said, "but for a little while we have always wanted to rescue more animals, grow more vegetables so we have always been thinking if there was ever a chance to get a bit more land then we would consider it."

The decision to move was driven by a desire for more land to accommodate a larger vegetable garden and provide space for rescued animals. "We saw somewhere and I was like, we could have a massive vegetable patch and we could offer our land to animals who need it and stuff like that," Solomon explained. "We went to see it and we fell in love."

Despite building their lives at Pickle Cottage, the couple sees the new property as a place for their family to grow and flourish. "It wasn't an easy decision, we built our lives together at Pickle Cottage but now we have found somewhere where we can see our family growing and really flourishing and this is the place," Solomon stated. "So it's time to say goodbye to Pickle Cottage which feels so weird and basically move across to our new chapter."

Solomon expressed her excitement for the renovation work ahead at the new property, which she described as "really really different" and in need of "a lot of love."
