Chelsea player Pep Chavarria's girlfriend, Pawgli, sought assistance from ChatGPT during an unexpected encounter with a squirrel that prolonged her walk to a nail salon.
Pawgli, a 27-year-old content creator who recently moved to London from Madrid, described the incident in a TikTok video. Her planned 50-minute walk to the salon turned into a 90-minute journey after the squirrel refused to move from her path.
The encounter occurred as Pawgli navigated a wooded trail, a route she took while her partner, Chavarria, awaits his new home in London. The squirrel appeared on the trail and remained in her way, prompting Pawgli to ask the AI chatbot, "Do squirrels attack?"
According to Pawgli, ChatGPT informed her that squirrels can be aggressive but advised her to wait for the animal to leave. After approximately 10 to 15 minutes with no movement from the squirrel, Pawgli decided to reroute, adding significant time to her trip.
Pawgli, who has a substantial following on TikTok and Instagram, had expressed initial hesitations about relocating to London. She has established a career in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle content creation in Madrid and considered a long-distance relationship with Chavarria.
However, she ultimately decided to move for "love" and to build a future with Chavarria. The footballer joined Chelsea from the Madrid-based club Rayo Vallecano in a deal reportedly worth around 18 million pounds. Chelsea's Premier League season is set to begin with a match against Fulham.
