Singer Rebecca Lucy Taylor, professionally known as Self Esteem, is set to make her cinematic debut in the upcoming film "Mountain." The coming-of-age story is set in 1980s Wales and was filmed in Holyhead, on the island of Anglesey.
The film is directed by Celyn Jones, who also stars in it alongside Peter Mullan and Iwan Rheon. "Mountain" follows the narrative of a neglected young boy in 1980s Wales who seeks friendship and community. His life changes when he encounters a man living in isolation on a mountain.
Jones described the filming experience as "an emotional and spiritual homecoming." The production concluded earlier this year.
