Model Shanina Shaik is expecting her second child, and first with boyfriend Ryan Press, a music executive. Shaik announced the news Thursday on social media, sharing a series of images showcasing her baby bump.
"Ryan and I are so excited to welcome a little one into our world," Shaik wrote in her announcement. "It's been so special holding onto this just between us for a little while, watching it become more real every day. And for my Zai, watching him become a big brother is a whole new kind of magic... I already know he's going to be the best! A new little life, a new chapter, and so much love ahead. Our hearts are full, and we can't wait to meet you."
Shaik, 35, is already mother to son Zai, whom she shares with ex-partner Matthew Adesuyan. The exact date of Shaik and Adesuyan's separation was not publicly announced.
Shaik married DJ Ruckus, also known as Gregory Andrews, in 2018. The couple separated after one year of marriage.
Shaik's career in modeling began in 2008, with a notable appearance in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show three years later. She has since walked for numerous high-profile designers, including Tom Ford, Vivienne Westwood, and Stella McCartney. Her early modeling experience included work as a child for Hyundai before she paused her career to focus on her education.
