Singers Rita Ora and Lewis Capaldi celebrated England's World Cup win against Mexico with fans in a London pub. The pair engaged in a night of revelry, singing along to England anthems and popular hits.
Videos shared by Ora showed the artists joining in chants of "It's coming home" with other patrons. At one point, Capaldi playfully mocked Ora when she struggled to recall the title of her own song, "I Will Never Let You Down." Ora, in turn, performed an operatic rendition of Capaldi's hit "Someone You Loved," attributing her memory lapse to being star-struck.
The festivities extended into the early hours, with Ora sharing clips from 2:26 a.m. showing the continued singing. She later posted about her state the following morning, noting she had slept with her hair clips still in, indicating a long night.
Ora also posted a picture of herself in bed, writing, "NOTHING beats a London pub game EVER…. It’s coming home!!! The fact I woke up with my hair clips still in and my hair has not moved says it all."
The day prior to the pub celebration, Ora performed ahead of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup final at Lord's Cricket Ground. She appeared on stage in a striped satin corset and white hot pants.
Ora has spoken recently about her career plans, indicating that releasing new music is a priority. She has also been involved in filming two movies this year and expressed a desire to appear in one of her husband Taika Waititi's films. The couple, married for nearly four years, are planning to celebrate their anniversary in August, though Ora noted their spontaneous nature means plans are often made last minute.
Additionally, Ora has been open about her fertility journey, having frozen her eggs in her twenties. She has discussed adapting her fitness regime and adopting an athletic mindset as she approaches menopause.
