Rhian Sugden has posted a before-and-after comparison in the same red swimsuit to show the results of a breast reduction she said has given her “freedom and confidence.”
The 39-year-old former Page 3 model and Celebrity Big Brother contestant shared two snaps on Instagram on Monday from Palma, Spain, thanking Pall Mall Cosmetics and the clinic’s surgeon. In her caption she wrote: “Same swimsuit, same sunnies… just without the back-breaking chest. ❤️” Sugden said the operation, carried out in June, reduced her cup size to a 32E.
Sugden has posted a series of updates about the procedure on social media, including footage she said showed her nipples sat 11 centimetres lower than they should have been after the birth of her son, George, who is one. She told followers she had been struggling to find bras and swimsuits that fit and had experienced regular back pain, saying the heavy chest made walking “unbearable.”
In another post she wrote: “Love love love my boobs. No implants, just a reduction and uplift by the amazing Dr Hussain @pallmallcosmetics❤️.” Sugden has variously described her pre-surgery size as 34GG and has been reported elsewhere as wearing 32HH; she said the reduction and uplift were intended to relieve physical discomfort and improve fit and mobility.
Sugden travelled to Palma to celebrate her 39th birthday and continued to share swimwear images while recovering, including an animal-print one-piece and a poolside shot. She credited the clinic for giving her confidence she said she “didn’t even realise” she had been missing.
Sugden’s public account of her surgery follows a pattern of celebrities and influencers sharing cosmetic-procedure experiences with followers. She framed the decision in terms of physical wellbeing and practical difficulties — from weekly massages to manage back tension to the challenge of swimming with a very large chest — rather than cosmetic enhancement alone.
Her posts did not provide medical details beyond the change in cup size and the name of the clinic. Pall Mall Cosmetics did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Sugden rose to prominence as a Page 3 model and later appeared on Celebrity Big Brother. She is among a growing number of public figures who have discussed undergoing surgery for health and comfort reasons.
The social-media posts drew attention for their candidness and for the visual comparison in the same swimsuit, which Sugden used to underline the physical change and the personal impact she described since the June operation.
