Pamela Anderson has revealed that she has not been contacted about making a cameo in the upcoming Fox reboot of "Baywatch." The actress, who played C.J. Parker for five seasons from 1992 to 1997, told Deadline that "no one's reached out to me" and she "don't know much about it."

While Anderson will not be appearing in the new series, her sons, Brandon and Dylan Lee, were approached about involvement behind the scenes. "I know that they were talking to my sons at some point about producing, but I don't think they had a meeting of the minds," Anderson said, adding that she wishes the project well.

Anderson, 59, who played the iconic lifeguard role that launched her to international fame, stated she has no desire to return to the franchise. "It was a great job, and I loved going to work every day on the beach," she said. "I would have been there anyway."

Reflecting on her past role, Anderson indicated that her future lies in new projects rather than revisiting her "Baywatch" past. "I think I've just got to keep on seeing what else is out there," she explained. "I've already done that. Now is my time to really play with different characters." The actress expressed interest in returning to the stage and making "really bold choices" to surprise herself and audiences.

Original "Baywatch" stars David Chokachi, Kelly Packard, and Michael Bergin were recently seen filming scenes for the reboot in Venice, California. Shauni McClain is also slated to reprise her role. The new series is set to premiere in January 2027 and stars Brooks Nader, Shay Mitchell, and Stephen Amell, who will portray an adult Hobie Buchannon.

The original "Baywatch" series ran for 11 seasons from 1989 to 2001.
