The cast of the "Terminator" film franchise gathered Sunday at the "For The Love of Fantasy And Sci-Fi" event in London, marking a reunion for several key actors.
Linda Hamilton, 69, who portrayed Sarah Connor, appeared on stage alongside Edward Furlong, 49, her on-screen son John Connor in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day." Also present were Robert Patrick, who played the T-1000 in the 1991 sequel, and Michael Biehn, who starred as Kyle Reese in the original 1984 film.
Furlong, who was cast in "Terminator 2" at age 13, rose to prominence with the role. His career path later faced significant challenges, including struggles with addiction, which he has publicly discussed. In recent years, Furlong has spoken about his recovery and career relaunch. The event marked a reunion for Furlong and Hamilton, coming a month after Furlong missed a planned appearance with Hamilton in Melbourne due to travel issues.
Hamilton has also experienced a recent career resurgence, including a guest appearance in the final season of "Stranger Things." She recently shared that she had considered retiring due to hip pain before receiving the "Stranger Things" offer.
Fans attended the London event for meet-and-greets and photo opportunities, with some paying up to $500 for the experience.
