Netflix Unveils Trailer for 'Sacrifice' Starring Chris Evans and Anya Taylor-Joy
The upcoming thriller directed by Romain Gavras is set to premiere on October 16, 2026.
Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming thriller "Sacrifice," featuring a star-studded cast including Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Evans. The film, directed by Romain Gavras, is scheduled for release on October 16, 2026.
The movie's plot centers on siblings Joan (Taylor-Joy) and her brothers, who, after their mother's death and guided by a cryptic volcanic prophecy, believe it is their mission to purify the Earth. Their radical group interrupts a charity gala, taking three individuals hostage for a ritual: movie star Mike Tyler (Evans), billionaire Ben Bracken (Vincent Cassel), and a performer named Katie (Ambika Mod). The night unfolds into chaos, blurring the lines between performance and conviction, salvation and sacrifice.
The ensemble cast also includes John Malkovich and Salma Hayek, alongside Taylor-Joy and Evans. The trailer has been described as attention-grabbing, blending action, mystery, humor, and suspense with elements of the occult.
"Sacrifice" will be available on Netflix starting October 16, 2026.
