My Chemical Romance is set to launch their 2026 'Black Parade Tour,' a multi-city North American trek scheduled from August through October. The tour will include performances at ballparks, stadiums, festivals, and bowls across the continent.
The tour kicks off on August 9 in Queens, New York, at Citi Field with special guest Franz Ferdinand. Subsequent dates will feature a varied lineup of supporting artists, including Pierce The Veil in Nashville on August 13, Modest Mouse in Washington, D.C. on August 18, Iggy Pop in Detroit on August 21, Jimmy Eat World in Phoenix on September 6, and The Mars Volta in San Antonio on September 12.
Tickets for the tour are currently available, with prices starting at $35 for some shows, including fees. The Citi Field opener has tickets beginning at $113 with fees. A promotional code, NYPOST10, offers $10 off purchases over $250 for first-time SeatGeek users.
Last year, My Chemical Romance's performances often began with a full rendition of their album "The Black Parade," followed by hits from their catalog such as "Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)," "Helena," and "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)." Reviews of past concerts have highlighted the band's theatrical presentation, incorporating elements like pyrotechnics and elaborate staging. For example, a July 2025 concert in Los Angeles was noted for its "spectacles – staged suicide bombers, ‘executions,’ and a whirlwind of pyrotechnics."
Beyond stadium shows, My Chemical Romance is scheduled to perform at several festivals. They will appear at Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky, from September 17-20, with Iron Maiden, Tool, Limp Bizkit, Pantera, and Pierce The Veil also on the lineup. Later, they are slated for the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California, from October 1-4, where Tool, Limp Bizkit, and The Offspring are also set to perform.
In addition to the tour, members of My Chemical Romance have been involved in other musical projects. In 2025, frontman Gerard Way released the single "I Wanna Know Your Name" with a group called The Mock Ups, featuring members of The Interrupters. Way also collaborated with the band Frozen Soul on the track "No Place of Warmth."
Opening acts for the tour include bands like Franz Ferdinand, Pierce The Veil, Modest Mouse, Iggy Pop, Sleater-Kinney, The Breeders, Babymetal, Jimmy Eat World, The Mars Volta, Thrice, and The Used. Notably, other major artists touring in 2026 include the Sex Pistols, Beck, and Jack White.
