A resurfaced anecdote from actress Millie Bobby Brown has generated significant online discussion and criticism. During an appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast in March 2025, Brown recounted an incident from a road trip where she urinated into a cup due to a lack of convenient restroom options.

Brown, who was traveling with her husband Jake Bongiovi and friends, described stopping on the side of a highway in Alabama. She stated that she relieved herself into a cup and then kept the used cup, with the lid on, in their vehicle for the remainder of the trip. She referred to it humorously as the "pee lid," a detail that has particularly unsettled some listeners.

"We were on a road trip and we were in Alabama and it was just me and Jake and our friends," Brown recalled. "I needed a wee so I just hung out of the car and peed in a swamp in the middle of Alabama. I peed in this cup and I emptied it ... then we kept the lid in the car and we called it the pee lid."

According to the account, Bongiovi expressed displeasure with the situation, questioning why Brown did not wait for a proper restroom. Brown, however, joked that her upbringing in England and subsequent move to Florida, which involved frequent road trips, accustomed her to such "on-the-go" bathroom practices.

The story gained renewed attention this week after being shared on X, formerly Twitter, by an account known as Rixlerr. The post highlighted Brown's statement about keeping the "urine-soaked cup lid" in the car, prompting a wave of negative comments.

Social media users reacted with terms like "gross," "unhinged," and "not normal," with many questioning the decision to retain the cup. One widely shared comment read, "Honestly I’ve heard some wild road trip stories but keeping a souvenir lid is a new level of chaotic. Does she really hate gas station bathrooms that much?"

Others defended Brown's candor, with one user praising her for being "relatable and unapologetically unfiltered." Another commented, "When you’ve gotta go, you’ve gotta go - love how relatable and unapologetically unfiltered Millie is."

Brown also discussed her wedding to Bongiovi during the podcast episode. The couple married in May 2024, with a larger celebration in Italy in September of that year. She described the experience as well-managed and enjoyable, stating she was not a "bridezilla" despite controlling many aspects of the event.
