Miley Cyrus has announced her tenth studio album, titled "BASS PERSUADES," set for release on September 18th. The singer teased the new music by altering her social media handle and posting a cryptic message on Instagram on Monday.
Cyrus confirmed the album's release on Tuesday, sharing her thoughts on the significance of music and the album's title. "Music takes hold of us,” she wrote. “We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong. Heart full, heartache, every part of life in between. That’s what the title means to me."
The announcement was accompanied by a black-and-white photo of the singer with a flower in her mouth, a possible nod to her hit single "Flowers." In addition to the new album, Cyrus is scheduled to perform two shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in October.
Cyrus previously expressed reservations about touring, citing concerns about maintaining sobriety on the road. In an interview with "Good Morning America" last year, she stated, "I do have the physical ability and I have the opportunities to tour. I wish I had the desire, but I don’t."
