Isabella Ladera, a Miami-based social media influencer, filed a lawsuit Monday in Miami-Dade County alleging her former boyfriend, Colombian pop singer Beéle, leaked an explicit sex tape of the two that later spread online.

Ladera, 26, told the court the video was shared without her consent and described seeing the clip go viral on Sept. 7 as “shocking.” In the complaint she says the footage was private and had been in the possession of only two people — herself and the 23-year-old singer, whose legal name is Brandon de Jesús López Orozco — and that she had deleted her copy months earlier.

Ladera, who has about 6.5 million Instagram followers and 5.6 million on TikTok, is seeking damages for invasion of privacy, sexual cyber-harassment and related claims, according to the filing. The suit says the couple began dating in 2023 as both were ending long-term relationships and that they sometimes recorded intimate videos “at Beéle’s request.”

The complaint alleges that in May 2024, while they were still together, Ladera told Beéle she had deleted her videos and asked him to do the same; the suit says he refused and “questioned her trust in him.” The pair’s relationship soured over the next year, the filing says, and they had separated by March 2025. Two months later, Ladera says she was contacted by people who had received screenshots of the tape and warned a full video could be released. She says she notified Beéle’s management and believed the matter had been resolved — only for the full recording to appear online later.

The lawsuit further alleges that Beéle’s phone had been accessible and that his refusal to erase the files, combined with that accessibility, establishes him as the source of the leak. Ladera wrote in an Instagram post cited in the filing that she is “profoundly devastated” and described the release as “one of the cruelest betrayals I have ever experienced.” She added that the affair has caused pain to her family and noted that she is a mother to a young daughter.

Beéle emphatically denied the allegations. His attorneys posted a statement on social media saying, “His artistic career and international prestige preclude any need or interest in such events,” and that they “categorically reject the circulation on social media and digital platforms of an intimate video that violates the privacy and dignity of the individuals involved.” The post was later deleted. Representatives for Beéle did not respond to requests for comment, and the singer could not be reached directly.

The complaint also references social-media posts from Beéle’s ex-wife that, according to Ladera, showed images of his phone and texts exchanged while he was married. Ladera alleges the distribution of the intimate footage was intended to expose and humiliate her after the relationship ended.

Ladera’s suit asks the court to hold Beéle responsible for the alleged leak and to award damages for the harms she says she suffered. It adds to a growing number of civil actions in recent years in which public figures and private individuals have sought relief after intimate images were posted or shared without consent.

Court records show the case was filed in Miami-Dade County; further procedural dates were not immediately available. The parties’ attorneys will address the allegations as the civil process moves forward.
