Mia Hewitt, daughter of actress Bec Hewitt and tennis champion Lleyton Hewitt, spent a recent day at Bondi Beach with her boyfriend, musician Vanda Erich. The couple, who have been dating since 2024, were observed engaging in public displays of affection.
Mia, 20, and Erich stretched out on a towel, sharing kisses and embraces. At one point, Hewitt was seen on Erich's shoulders as he carried her across the sand, and he also appeared to give her a foot massage. Hewitt wore a black t-shirt and denim shorts, while Erich opted for red boardshorts and no shirt. The pair later left the beach holding hands.
Mia Hewitt has spoken previously about growing up in the public eye, noting that her parents shielded her and her siblings from media attention. "We were each other's world for so long, because we were travelling all the time," she said, adding that this closeness helped ground them. Despite the constant presence of cameras, Hewitt stated that her siblings are her best friends and that they were more aware of public attention than the average child. She also described the experience of people feeling they know you without truly knowing your personal evolution.
Hewitt, who is the lead singer of the folk band Father's Favourite, has shifted her focus to music. She has recorded a debut EP and performs with the band. She mentioned that music has always been a constant for her and that finding like-minded people through the band gave her the confidence to pursue it. Her musical influences are rooted in the 1960s and 1970s, with Stevie Nicks as a key inspiration. Performing live is her favorite aspect of being in the band.
