Metallica is set to launch an extensive 24-concert residency, dubbed 'Life Burns Faster,' at Las Vegas' Sphere venue on Thursday, October 1. The residency is scheduled to run through March 2027.

Each performance will be part of the band's ongoing "no repeat weekend" series, meaning Thursday and Saturday shows will feature distinct setlists. Historically, Thursday concerts have included staples like "Master of Puppets," "Seek & Destroy," and "Creeping Death," while Saturday performances have featured tracks such as "Enter Sandman," "Ride the Lightning," and "Blackened."

Tickets for the residency are currently available. As of this report, the lowest available single-show ticket price found was $430, including fees, for the February 25, 2027 concert via SeatGeek. Two-day passes start at $606, also including fees, for dates on February 25 and 27, 2027.

Fans can also catch Metallica at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, for two 'No Repeat' shows on November 19 and 21. Suicidal Tendencies will join the band on November 19, with Spiritbox opening on November 21. This marks Metallica's first performance in Connecticut since July 1998.

The Sphere is also hosting other notable acts, including "The Wizard of Oz" (indefinite run), Backstreet Boys (July 30 - August 22), Carín León (September 4-6 and 11-13), and the Eagles (September 18 - December 12).

Metallica released their 11th studio album, "72 Seasons," on April 14, 2023. The album features tracks such as the title song, "Sleepwalk My Life Away," "You Must Burn!," and "Lux Æterna."
