Melanie Chisholm, widely known as Mel C or Sporty Spice, married her partner Chris Dingwall in a custom ivory gown designed by former Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham. The ceremony took place on Saturday at a friend's lakeside property in Cumbria, UK.

This celebration followed a legal wedding in Dingwall's native Australia, for which Chisholm borrowed a slip dress from Beckham's personal collection. Beckham had previously worn the lace-trimmed cami dress to a wedding in February 2022.

For the UK ceremony, Beckham reworked the design into a floor-length ivory gown featuring hand-stitched lace appliqués on the bodice and skirt. Chisholm's 17-year-old daughter, Scarlet, also requested the addition of a train to the dress.

The gown showcased Chisholm's arms and shoulders. She completed the look with the designer's champagne satin Harlow heels and a Dorian clutch, carrying a simple bouquet of wildflowers. Dingwall wore a Zegna suit.

Following the ceremony, Chisholm changed into wide-leg champagne trousers and a white sports bra for the reception.

The couple met on the dating app Raya and had their first date in Australia in November 2023. Dingwall proposed to Chisholm in Mallorca in July.

The UK wedding also served as a partial Spice Girls reunion, with members Mel B, Emma Bunton, and Geri Halliwell-Horner in attendance. Victoria Beckham was unable to attend but was represented by her design.
