Megan Blake Irwin and Sydney property heir Angus Onisforou have ended their relationship, with people close to the couple telling media outlets the split was driven by differences in age and life stage.
The Adelaide-born model, 33, and Onisforou, 25, were first publicly linked in March when Irwin was seen cheering him on at a polo match near Harden. They were photographed together again a month later in Sydney when Onisforou collected Irwin from a fashion event supporting ovarian cancer research. Insiders told the Daily Mail the couple parted ways about six months after they were first seen together, saying Onisforou was "too young for her" and that an eight-year gap was significant at their respective ages.
Representatives for Irwin and Onisforou did not immediately respond to requests for comment. A second source quoted by the outlet characterized the split in more pointed terms, saying the younger man was "not exactly ready to be tied down" to someone who was a well-known figure a decade earlier.
Irwin has a long public history of high-profile relationships and tabloid attention dating back to her years living in Los Angeles. The 33-year-old, now a Guess model, has been linked with a series of men in the entertainment, fashion and business spheres, and several of those relationships ended amid public scrutiny.
Her first widely reported engagement was to artist manager Ashley Wilson. A later engagement to Pedestrian TV co-founder Oscar Martin ended abruptly in 2016; Martin later listed the 1.23-carat Cartier ring from the engagement for sale on Facebook's "High End" buy-sell group, noting it had been "worn for one week only." Around the same period, Irwin was publicly connected with Scott Disick, and she has on multiple occasions declined to elaborate on the nature of that relationship in interviews.
Irwin dated AFL-player-turned-model Tom Derickx in 2017 and again briefly in 2021. She was linked to Miami socialite Nicolo Knows later in 2017 and confirmed a relationship in 2018 with film producer David Mimran, a businessman whose family wealth and age difference drew attention in the press. Irwin responded at the time to questions about the age gap by saying she looks at "who they are on the inside" and called the relationship founded on mutual respect.
In 2020 she had a short-lived romance with actor Skeet Ulrich, which ended after several months amid public back-and-forth. That year she was also photographed with MMA fighter Luke Rockhold and again seen with Disick; she later confirmed a relationship with model Matt Parvizyar in 2022, which the couple did not make long-term.
Irwin has acknowledged the public fascination with her private life. In 2022 she told interviewers she "does get a giggle" about tabloid stories and said she does not seek them out but sometimes encounters them through friends or followers who send links. She has generally declined to take gossip to heart and has framed several of her relationships in social media comments as genuine connections formed through friendship and mutual respect.
The split with Onisforou continues a pattern of short, visible relationships for Irwin that have kept her in entertainment coverage since her move to Los Angeles. Her career in modelling and frequent appearances on red carpets and at high-profile events have kept her profile in lifestyle and showbiz reporting high, and public interest in her personal life has persisted even as she has lived and worked in multiple cities.
Neither Irwin nor Onisforou has announced their current relationship status publicly following the reports of the breakup. Onisforou is the son of Greek-Australian property figure Theo Onisforou; media accounts have noted his presence in Sydney social circles since the couple were first seen together earlier this year.
