Maya Jama has captured attention during her week in New York, showcasing a bold fashion repertoire featuring leather and PVC for multiple public appearances. The "Love Island" presenter was seen on Wednesday in Midtown sporting a figure-hugging black leather dress paired with knee-high boots and sunglasses.

Earlier the same day, Jama made her first appearance on "Good Morning America." For the television spot, she opted for another striking, form-fitting outfit constructed from PVC, complemented by towering high heels.

During her "Good Morning America" interview, Jama discussed the current season of "Love Island," noting its global viral success. She also addressed her limited screen time in the ongoing series, attributing it to the show's high drama and the producers' decisions.

"I think this series has just had so much drama that they didn't need me to intervene, it's been so entertaining, so wild – as usual," Jama commented.

Jama also shared details about her upcoming participation in "Celebrity Traitors." While she remained tight-lipped about specifics due to the show's nature, she expressed her enthusiasm for being a contestant rather than a host for the first time. "This is the first time I've ever been a contestant and not a host," she stated. "And I can't say much, because it's Traitors – you're not allowed to say anything... But I'm excited! We'll see how I act. It's the biggest, one of the biggest shows in the UK, and in America also. It's so much fun, whether you're a traitor or a faithful, what an experience to get to do that. So, yeah, fingers crossed it goes well."

This trip to the U.S. follows recent speculation about Jama's personal life. It was reported over the weekend that she had spent time with chef James Freeman outside his restaurant in Notting Hill, London, after her reported split from footballer Ruben Dias in April.
