A monumental replica of the Trojan Horse has been unveiled at Universal Studios Hollywood's CityWalk, standing 34 feet tall as part of an elaborate promotional campaign for Christopher Nolan's new film, "The Odyssey."

The towering wooden horse, adorned with stripes and rearing on a sand platform, is positioned in front of the AMC Universal Cinema. Construction on the massive prop began several days prior to its Saturday debut.

"The Odyssey," slated for a July 17 release, features an ensemble cast portraying characters from Homer's epic poem. The film's cast includes Matt Damon as Odysseus, Tom Holland as Telemachus, and Anne Hathaway as Penelope. The production boasts a significant $250 million budget, a portion of which has been allocated to its promotional efforts.

Universal Pictures, the film's distributor, has also introduced a smaller, popcorn-ready version of the Trojan Horse available to theatergoers. Additionally, one of the film's ships will be featured on the Universal Studios Hollywood studio tour, accompanied by behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with filmmakers.

Nolan has encouraged audiences to experience "The Odyssey" in premium formats, with actors promoting options such as IMAX 70MM and Dolby Cinema. A similar Trojan Horse installation was also noted in Miami, where actor Matt Damon and John Leguizamo were photographed in front of the structure to promote the film's opening.
