Bec Zacharia, a participant on the reality series Married At First Sight, is selling the wedding ring she received upon marrying Danny Hewitt. The couple recently experienced a "shock split" on the show, and Zacharia announced her decision to sell the ring on Instagram.

Zacharia, 35, stated that the ring "serves no purpose" for her any longer. She plans to donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale to the Animal Welfare League. The ring is reportedly valued at $2,800 and Zacharia has indicated she is open to offers.

Zacharia was reportedly left "blindsided" in April when Hewitt ended their relationship during an episode of the series. Leading up to the breakup, Zacharia had expressed strong commitment to Hewitt, stating she was "all in" and could not imagine her life without him. She shared during the show that her feelings for Hewitt had grown despite arguments, and she believed him to be "the one."

During the show's Homestays, Zacharia felt validated in her feelings after positive interactions with her family and her dog, Coco. She expressed a desire to build a future with Hewitt, believing he had helped her envision a life she hadn't seen before.

Hewitt, however, stated that while he had built a connection with Zacharia, her involvement in drama on the show was too much. He expressed concerns that their relationship's "up and down" nature would not be suitable for children. In his final vows, Hewitt revealed that he felt a "weight come off his shoulders" when he realized he wasn't missing her during their time apart, a statement that visibly upset Zacharia. The pair parted ways after Zacharia's tearful reaction, with Hewitt acknowledging the difficulty of the moment.
