The founder of the UK Pleasure Boys, a male stripping troupe, has admitted that performers sometimes go "off-script" during shows, particularly when audience members become overly enthusiastic. John Woodward, 52, who is now retired from full-time stripping, noted that some midlife women can be quite aggressive during performances, describing incidents where fans have groped, bitten, and chased the performers.

Woodward, who spent nearly 30 years in the industry, stated that the troupe's shows are designed to be an "all-out fantasy brought to life." He acknowledged that neither the performers nor their fans are "shrinking violets," and that some fans follow the troupe around the country. The UK Pleasure Boys gained notoriety after a recent raucous show at Banbury FC's clubhouse in Oxfordshire, which reportedly devolved into "Bacchanalian Bedlam."

Woodward, who is described as the "brains, brawn and bravado" behind the controversial act, started his stripping career solo under the name Adrenaline after spotting the potential for stripping while working as a crane driver on a scrapyard.

Suffice to say, the men are not shrinking violets and neither are their fans, some of whom follow them around the country (pictured, the Pleasure Boys with fans)
